Avery Lalor
President
"Hi! My name is Avery Lalor, and I am the newly-elected WIA President! I am an Aviation major at SJSU with a concentration in Flight Operations, and my ultimate goal is to become a commercial airlines pilot. I am a Private Pilot and am currently working on my Instrument Rating. A few things about me: I love to sing and play guitar, I love to travel, and I love spending time with my friends. One of my top things that I want to accomplish in my life is to set foot on all seven continents! I am so excited to fulfill my new position as President, and I hope to really grow this club and to encourage young aspiring pilots!"

"Hello, everyone. My name is Tram Do. I am a third year student at SJSU majoring in Aviation Flight Operations. I have been involved with the club since Spring 2022. I am happy to continue my role as Vice President for this year. I look forward to supporting those in WIA and making our club more fun!"

"Hello! I'm Bhavya Dhulipalla, a fourth year Aviation Management major. A few years ago, I would have never expected my interest in aviation to follow me into college or my future career, but I have never felt more suited for an industry than I do now. I want to help inspire and empower women in this field just I have been myself by amazing women I have met."
Leslie Rendon

"Hello! I'm Leslie Rendon. I would like to thank you for giving this opportunity again to keep my role as a Secretary. I have been as involved as I can be since I first joined the club in Fall 2021 and ran for Secretary in the following semester, Spring 2022. I would like to use my experience to benefit WIA at SJSU, as well as use WIA to make more connections with people and encourage anyone with an interest in the field of aviation to become involved. I am a third year majoring in Aviation, I really enjoy hiking, going to the beach, and reading. I hope to be as involved with WIA as I have been, if not even more alongside everyone in WIA at SJSU."

"Hey!! My name is Halle Patzer and I'm on the Historian Committee for WIA this semester! I'm majoring in Aviation at SJSU with a concentration in Flight Operations. I'm currently a student pilot, but would like to pursue a career as a commercial pilot. I'm excited to contribute to this club as a documenter and planner, and hope to aid in its activities and events of the future!"
Julia Sutter

"Hi! My name is Julia Sutter, and I am a member of the Historian Committee. I am a first year Aviation major with the Professional Flight focus. I received my Private Pilot Certificate last March and am currently working to cloud surf (instrument rating lol). In my free time, I enjoy playing badminton, working out with Tram Do, and jamming on the guitar. I am extremely excited for this semester at the club!"

"Hola! It's Alexa Casas, former WIA President 2022, and first generation Mexican- American. Honored to receive this position as President Emeritus and proud of my sisters for continuing the legacy of Women in Aviation at SJSU. I am thrilled to continue to support WIA in every way I can and mentor our new officers and members to help reach their goals. It's been a dream come true to be part of this organization that represents women in the aviatio industry. It has brought me real connections and unbelievable experiences that I will cherish forever.
